Muscat, 12 Jun (ONA): His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to President Droupadi Murmu of the Republic of India following the tragic passenger plane crash at Ahmedabad Airport, which was en route to the United Kingdom (UK).
In the cable, His Majesty the Sultan expressed profound sorrow and deep sadness over the devastating accident that claimed the lives of most passengers of various nationalities, as well as several residents in the building struck by the aircraft. He extended his sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims.
His Majesty also wished the Republic of India and all nations safety and protection from such calamities and disasters.
