Muscat: Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG) has disclosed the specifics of its forthcoming major developments in the Sultanate of Oman: YAMAL and JOOD. These projects, slated for imminent launch west of the capital, Muscat, represent a substantial total investment of approximately 1.5 billion Omani Riyals.
YAMAL: Positioned on the coast of the Gulf of Oman with an impressive beachfront spanning 1,760 meters. YAMAL is being developed as an upscale tourism and residential community. It promises an integrated lifestyle that harmoniously blends luxury, entertainment, a world-class marina, marine sports, international hotels, and comprehensive services, featuring diverse residential units overlooking the sea and marina.
JOOD: This second project, located within Sultan Haitham City, is a fully serviced development introducing a novel concept of smart, sustainable communities. JOOD will encompass varied residential units catering to multiple segments, vast green spaces, and a full range of service, commercial, entertainment, medical, and educational facilities. A social and sports club spanning 80,000 square meters will complete this vision of sophisticated, fully integrated living.
The two developments will collectively deliver around 13,000 residential and hotel units across a total area exceeding 4.9 million square meters. They are being developed concurrently and will be connected by an electric railway.
TMG emphasized that its Omani developments are meticulously designed to foster a sustainable and highly refined urban and tourism environment. A key feature of this vision is a commitment to low-density living, with building occupancy not exceeding 15% of the total land area, while approximately 50% of the land is dedicated to green spaces and services. Operations and management will utilize cutting-edge smart systems, encompassing irrigation, lighting, security, and maintenance.
These details were revealed during TMG's participation in the Home & Building Expo + Urban October Conference, held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat from Monday, October 6, to Thursday, October 9, 2025.
At its pavilion, the Group showcased its real-world achievements through an interactive experience, including a live broadcast from Madinaty in Egypt. This successful model city will serve as the template for the Group's new projects in Oman.
