Three people killed in explosion targeting police headquarters in Pakistan

Peshawar: At least three people were killed today in an explosion that targeted the headquarters of the Federal Police in the city of Peshawar, northwest Pakistan.

Two suicide bombers also targeted the complex.

"The first suicide bomber first carried out an attack on the main entrance of the constabulary and the other one entered the compound," a senior official told the Reuters news agency.

Security forces, including the army and police, have cordoned off the area.
