Oman’s Foreign Ministry closely monitors regional developments

Muscat: The Foreign Ministry is closely following, with deep concern, the rapidly evolving developments in a number of tense areas in the region in light of the current circumstances.

 The Ministry affirms that the situation of Omani citizens present in those areas is under direct and continuous follow-up by the Sultanate of Oman’s accredited missions there, in coordination with the relevant authorities, in order to ensure their safety and security.

The Ministry calls upon all Omani citizens in the affected areas to exercise the highest levels of caution, adhere to the instructions issued by local official authorities, and avoid gathering places and areas of tension.

The Ministry also urges citizens to maintain continuous communication with the concerned missions through the announced emergency numbers and to register on the Foreign Ministry application to update their information and receive the necessary guidance.
