HM the Sultan receives phone call from King of Netherlands

Muscat--- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today received a phone call from King Willem-Alexander of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

During the telephonic conversation, His Majesty the Sultan and the King discussed the situation of escalating military tension in the region and its serious repercussions that threaten the security of nations and the safety of their people.

The two leaders stressed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to halt the ongoing conflict, uphold international law and resume dialogue and diplomatic solutions that will enhance security and stability in the region and the world at large.
