Body of third missing person found in Barka

Muscat: The Search and Rescue Sector has recovered the body of a third missing person following an incident where a vehicle was swept away in a wadi in Wilayat of Barka, said Oman News Agency(ONA).

This discovery brings the total number of fatalities linked to the current weather conditions to five.

Emergency teams had been conducting intensive search operations in the area. The recovery highlights the ongoing risks posed by the heavy rainfall and the resulting surge in water levels across several regions.
