SAF Chief of Staff receives French counterpart

Muscat: Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received in his office at Al Murtafaa Camp today General Fabien Mandon, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting discussed a set of military topics of mutual interest.

French Chief of Armed forces visits Maritime Security Centre

General Fabien Mandon, Chief of Staff of the French Armed Forces and his accompanying delegation today paid a visit to the Maritime Security Centre.

He was received upon arrival by Commodore Adel bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the Maritime Security Centre.

During the visit, the guest and his delegation were given a briefing on the roles and responsibilities of the Maritime Security Centre, as well as its efforts to safeguard the safety and security of the environment and navigation within the maritime zones of the Sultanate of Oman. They also toured the Centre's facilities and reviewed its advanced technologies and modern systems.
