Bringing more than three decades of international experience in hotel management, operations, and strategic development, Michael joins the property with a results-driven approach and a strong track record in building and leading high-performing teams. His career spans key markets across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, where he has consistently delivered operational excellence and commercial success.

What makes this appointment particularly significant is Michael’s connection to Muscat. Having previously worked in the city, his valuable local market insight and a deep understanding of evolving guest expectations in the Sultanate, combined with a global perspective shaped by his international career.

Throughout his journey, Michael has held senior leadership roles with globally recognised brands including Rotana, Mövenpick, Marriott, Taj Hotels, Accor, and Radisson. Among his notable achievements is the successful pre-opening of The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama in Japan, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the hotel’s operational framework and market positioning.
