Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has issued a judgment involving three consumers and three commercial establishments operating in the construction sector in Muscat Governorate.
According to the CPA, the establishments failed to carry out agreed works, including the construction of service facilities and installation of equipment, in addition to poor workmanship and failure to comply with agreements concluded with the consumers.
The establishments and their representatives were convicted of failing to provide the agreed services and were ordered to pay a total of OMR 1,600, in addition to the applicable legal costs.
The judgment was issued on August 16, 2026.
