Al Dakhiliyah Municipal Council discusses planning, service topics

Nizwa: The Municipal Council of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate discussed in its meeting today a number of planning, service, and investment topics aimed at meeting the needs of the governorate's wilayats, and developing public facilities, community services and traffic safety.

The Council emphasised the importance of selecting the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar as the Capital of Gulf Tourism for 2027, calling for the integration of efforts to raise the wilayat's readiness, support tourism activity, develop services, and assist SMEs, craftspeople, and productive families. It also reviewed the implemented recommendations from the minutes of the previous meeting.

In the Wilayat of Nizwa, the Council discussed the approval of the Al Aqiq walkway route and the creation of a park in the areas of Ghaf Al Shaikh and Al Jul. Meanwhile, in the Wilayat of Bahla, it discussed the creation and allocation of sites for investment, service, and residential purposes, which included establishing an apiary, a poultry production project, horse stables, residential layouts, an Eid prayer ground, and an equestrian track.

The meeting was chaired by Yasser Fadhil Al Muharbi, Deputy Chairman of the Council, in the presence of the members and representatives of the relevant government entities.
