Sayyid Badr meets with U.S. President’s Advisor for Arab and African Affairs

Foreign Minister Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi met with Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the U.S. President for Arab and African Affairs.

The meeting addressed Arab and African issues of mutual interest, as well as diplomatic efforts to contain conflicts and create conditions for political settlements that safeguard the sovereignty and security of states and respond to their peoples’ aspirations for peace and stability.

The U.S. official praised Oman’s wise policy and its recognised role in bringing viewpoints closer together, as well as its sustained efforts to promote opportunities for consensus and peace in the region.

Regarding Oman-U.S. relations, both expressed their countries’ shared commitment to continuing constructive efforts to develop cooperation and partnership in line with their mutual aspirations and interests, bringing greater benefits to both countries.
