Oman, Somalia discuss means of enhancing cooperation in food security

Muscat: Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, held talks with Saeed Mohamed Mahmoud, Minister of State at the Ministry of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing of the Federal Republic of Somalia, on avenues of joint cooperation in food security, agriculture, fisheries and livestock, as well as ways to develop partnerships and exchange expertise and experience.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed opportunities for cooperation, investment and innovation in sectors of mutual interest. These efforts support food security and sustainability and open new horizons for cooperation between the two friendly countries.
