Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) announced on Tuesday, October 14, 2026, the revocation of licenses for several Sanad Services Centers following violations of the governing regulatory bylaw (Ministerial Decision No. 244/2022). The enforcement measures stem from ongoing periodic inspections designed to uphold service quality and legal compliance across the Sultanate of Oman.
As part of the nationwide enforcement drive, the Ministry confirmed the closure of 17 non-compliant centers located in the Dhofar Governorate.
MoCIIP emphasised the necessity for all operational centers to strictly adhere to established regulations, confirming that field inspections will continue to safeguard beneficiary interests and maintain high standards across all authorized establishments.
Sanad Services Centers operate as private commercial entities licensed by MoCIIP to facilitate administrative e-services for citizens, residents, and businesses throughout Oman.
