Japanese honour accorded to Salem bin Nasser Al Maskri

Muscat: The Japanese Emperor has awarded the Order of the Rising Sun to His Excellency Salem bin Nasser Al Maskri.

A statement issued online by The Embassy of Oman in Tokyo said: "The embassy congratulates His Excellency Salem bin Nasser Al Maskari, the Former Secretary General of Higher Education Council who was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun - the golden and silver star - by His Majesty the Emperor for his efforts in strengthening relations between the Sultanate and Japan in the field of education."
