Musical show celebrates Indian Independence Day

Muscat: For celebrating Indian Independence day,TALENT HUNTERS OMAN organized “Saare Jahan Se Achha - 2 ” presented by “Ion Exchange”on Saturday, August16, 2025 at College of Banking & Finance, Oman Hall – Bowsher

Extremely talented local singers which included 2 Omani singers – Mohd. Rafi &Basim+6 Indians - Varsha, Sneha, Joshika,Neha, Shekar& Sanjaypoured their heart out singing Choicest Indian Patriotic songs both old & New in anhours of Spectacular Musical display.

“Talent Hunters Oman” is a group of dedicated people having passion for “Performing Arts”. The aim of the group is to encourage the local talents, to give them a platform to perform & get them the recognition they deserve. The group also train and groom the local talents, with the objective of bringing out the best in them.
H.E. Shri G. V. Srinivas, Indian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman& H.E. Redha Juma Al Saleh – Ex Chairman, Chamber of Commerce, were the Guests of Honour.

The showbeganwith all chanting Indian National Anthem followed byanemotional song, remembering those who sacrificed their life to win Independence for India“Aey Mere WatanKe Logon” ….that set the ball rolling. The packedhouse of audience was thrilled by some Soulful, some emotional & some melodious songs. The show ended with  “Ye mera India I love my India”.VandeMataram sung by rising star of Oman Basim was the highlight.H.E. The Indian Ambassador added flavor to the show by singing a song which was a pleasant surprise.

Script was neat& host GajeshDhariwal was able to impress the audience mixing information with punch lines.Divya Tiwaritook care of thethe singers-performersbackstage& saw that the flow of the show was smooth. Sunil Asher ensured the sound & other technology used were faultless& the volunteers made the audience comfortable.

The entire atmosphere was filled with energy, euphoria, and patriotic aura. Sometimes making the eyes moist&sometimes bringing smiles on the faces of audience. From start to finish everything was painstakingly precise.

The Founder of Talent Hunters Oman & the Director of the show Dr. Sanjay Dalal in his speech thanked H.E. Shri G.V. Srinivas, H.E. Eng. Redha JumaAl Saleh& delegates who graced the event. He thanked the full house audience for sitting through to the end& for motivating the singers with huge applause &cheers
He also thanked Mr. Vincent CBFS for his coordination & Support, Mr. Nizam – Audio Tech for his excellent handling of the sound system, the heart of the singing event.
At the endthe whole “Team Talent Hunters Oman” came on stagewho were cheered by the entire crowd.

In conclusion, Dr. Sanjay Dalal thanked all the sponsors & well-wishers without whom the show would not have been possible.

It was a Grand Successful show ;Music Lovers of Muscat-Oman will cherish the memories for a long time to come.
