GCC Defence Industries Committee holds third meeting

Muscat: The Defence Industries Committee of the GCC held its third meeting in Muscat. The meeting was attended by delegations of defence industry specialists from the armed forces of member states.

The meeting was chaired by Brigadier Khalid Sulaiman Al Shubaibi, Director General of Research and Military Industries at the Ministry of Defense. Air Vice Marshal Issa Rashid Al Mohannadi, Assistant GCC Secretary General for Military Affairs, was also in attendance.

During the meeting, participants discussed several topics on the agenda aimed at developing integrated strategies and initiatives for coordination among the armed forces of the member states in the field of defense industries.
