New York: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the deliberations of the High-level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, held as part of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Omani delegation was headed by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister.
This conference follows up on the conference held last July under the joint patronage of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic, as part of ongoing international endeavors and diplomatic efforts aimed at enabling the two-state solution and mobilizing international recognition of the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
