Tajawob platform to help give accurate feedback of employees

Muscat: The first phase of a training programme titled “ Enhancing government employees’ skills in dealing with beneficiaries” kicked off in Muscat on Monday.

More than 230 employees from government units are taking part in the programme, which is affiliated to “Tajawob” platform—a national site for filing proposals, complaints and reports.

The programme, which is carried out in the Governorate of Muscat, seeks to meet a number of objectives: Enhance employees’ skills in providing services right from the first time; ensure the filing of accurate feedback and limit the need for follow-up or repeated requests; consolidate the confidence of beneficiaries and raise their overall satisfaction of users; and improve the overall quality of government services.

The programme, carried out in cooperation with the National Bank of Oman, forms part of a partnership drive aimed at boosting the exchange of expertise between the public and private sectors.

This is realised by leveraging the banking sector’s experience in achieving the satisfaction of customer service beneficiaries.

The programme is scheduled to be implemented as part of an integrated training plan that will cover all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The plan addresses employees in administrative divisions across the country, according to a six-month schedule.

Tajawob platform comprises 54 government entities. Since its launch, the platform registered more than 86,000 transactions across various channels—including proposals, complaints, reports and queries.

Recently, Tajawob platform launched its electronic application to facilitate beneficiaries’ access to its services via smartphones. -ONA
