Israel has said the first seven hostages due to be released by Hamas on Monday are in the hands of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The remaining hostages are expected to be freed at around 10 a.m. local time (0700 GMT).
The ICRC is to bring the hostages to the Israeli military for transfer to the Reim military base, where they will be reunited with relatives and undergo medical checks before being flown to hospitals if further treatment is necessary.
The Israeli military said the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)is on its way to pick up the first hostages to be released by the Palestinian militant group Hamas in Gaza.
The hostages are expected to be transferred at a meeting point in the northern Gaza strip.
This comes after Hamas published a list of the 20 living hostages it plans to release under the first phase of the ceasefire deal in exchange for nearly 2,000 Palestnian prisoners.
According to Reuters news agency, the names included Bar Abraham Kupershtein, Evyatar David, Yosef-Chaim Ohana, Segev Kalfon, Avinatan Or, Elkana Bohbot, Maxim Herkin, Nimrod Cohen, Matan Angrest, Matan Zangauker, Eitan Horn, Eitan Abraham Mor, Gali Berman, Ziv Berman, Omri Miran, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Rom Braslavski, Ariel Cunio and David Cunio.
The remains of up to 28 other hostages held in Gaza are not expected to be returned with the ones who are still alive
Hamas also published a list of some 1,900 Palestinian prisoners to be released in exchange for the hostages.
