
Muscat: The Ministry of Health, represented by the Directorate General of Khoula Hospital, organised the first Annual Scientific Research Day under the auspices of Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Haddabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation for Scientific Research and Innovation.
The First Annual Scientific Research Day aimed to highlight distinguished research efforts across various medical, nursing, and administrative specialties at the Directorate General of Khoula Hospital, and to promote the culture of scientific research and innovation among healthcare staff. This contributes to developing institutional performance and improving the quality of health services provided.
The event concluded with a tour of the accompanying exhibition, which featured presentations of a number of participating scientific researches. Researchers provided explanations of the key findings of their studies and research projects, as part of Khoula Hospital's endeavor to establish a culture of research and innovation in the health field.
The organisation of this event is a practical translation of one of the pillars of "Oman Vision 2040", represented by "Creative Human and Productive Society". It affirms the importance of scientific research as a tool for institutional development and building a knowledge-based society founded on evidence and innovation.
