HH Sayyid Asa'ad, Algerian Minister discuss various areas of cooperation

Muscat: HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, on Monday held a meeting with Eng. Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, who is on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting dealt with existing areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria in agriculture, fisheries and food sectors. It also discussed means of developing partnerships in a manner that achieves the common interests of the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Saud bin Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, and officials from the two sides.
