The Embassy of India in Muscat celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India

Muscat: The Embassy of India in Muscat celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The event witnessed large participation by members of the Indian community and friends of India in Oman. The Chargé d’affaires Mrs. Tavishi Behal Pandey began the celebrations by laying a floral tribute at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi, honouring his legacy of peace and non-violence.

The National Flag was unfurled by the Cd'A, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by students from Indian School Muscat. The Cd'A also read excerpts from the Hon’ble President of India’s Republic Day address, highlighting India’s progress, democratic values, and aspirations for the future.

Following the successful completion of INSV Kaundinya's maiden voyage from Porbandar to Muscat, the presence of Commander Y. Hemant and Commander Vikas Sheoran also joined the celebrations, adding distinction to the occasion.

Patriotic songs performed by the students from the Indian School Muscat further enhanced the festive atmosphere.
