Nine Asians arrested in Musandam

Muscat: Nine Asian individuals were arrested by the Police Command in the Governorate of Musandam while attempting to illegally enter the country through the Wilayat of Dibba. 

Legal proceedings against them are currently being completed.

Impersonator arrested

The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has arrested an individual for impersonating a police officer and committing robbery by coercion.

The suspect allegedly stopped victims on the road, asked for their personal documents while falsely claiming to be a police officer, and then seized cash found in their possession.

The Royal Oman Police confirmed that legal procedures are currently being completed against the accused.
