
Abu Dhabi– Five people were injured after two fires broke out near the Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), caused by falling debris from a ballistic missile intercepted by UAE air defense systems.
According to the Emirates News Agency, citing the Abu Dhabi Media Office, authorities responded swiftly to two separate incidents: a fire in the vicinity of KIZAD resulting from debris, and the successful interception of a ballistic missile.
Officials confirmed that the injured individuals, all of Indian nationality, sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Competent authorities in Abu Dhabi are continuing to manage the situation and ensure public safety.
