This participation is part of the athletes’ preparation program for upcoming competitions, most notably the 5th Asian Paralympic Games scheduled to take place in Japan in October 2026. The championship serves as a crucial qualifying event to achieve entry standards, enhance the athletes’ international rankings, and assess their technical readiness.

The national team has undergone a preparatory and training program at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, which has helped elevate the athletes’ level of preparedness. The team aspires to achieve positive results and secure podium finishes during the championship.
