Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and Maria Theresa Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, held a telephone conversation today during which they reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing bilateral relations and expanding partnership opportunities across various fields to achieve greater mutual benefit.
The telephone conversation also focused on preparations for the third edition of the Cebu‑Oman Investment Forum, scheduled to take place in Manila in July 2026, coinciding with Oman’s participation in the ASEAN ministerial meeting with partner countries. On the political front, the two ministers expressed satisfaction with the positive development of the regional political climate and maritime navigation, in light of the recently reached US‑Iran understanding.
