Al Dhahirah Municipal Council discusses public service matters, regulatory issues

Ibri: Municipal Council of Al Dhahirah Governorate on  Monday held its 6th regular session in 2026, during which it discussed a number of service matters and regulatory issues. The meeting was chaired by Tahir bin Mabkhout Al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah.

Members of the Municipal Council approved the minutes of the 5th regular session and reviewed steps taken to implement the Council’s past recommendations.

The meeting discussed organisational issues related to the sale of used cars in the governorate, a proposal to allocate tourist land for investment and other programmes to develop the wilayats of Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The Municipal Council also took relevant action pursuant to recommendations submitted by the Social Affairs Committee, the Development and Growth Committee and the Health and Environment Committee.
