GCC national arrested for reckless driving in Dhofar

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has taken legal action in an incident involving dangerous driving in the Sultanate of Oman, reaffirming their commitment to maintaining road safety and enforcing traffic laws.

The Dhofar Governorate Police Command apprehended a citizen of a Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member state for performing dangerous stunts and drifting with his vehicle in Salalah, endangering his own life as well as the safety of other road users.

Legal procedures against the driver are currently being completed.
