Royal Army of Oman wins Italian Freefall Parachuting Championship

TURIN — The Royal Army of Oman’s freefall parachute team secured first place in the Italian Air Formation Freefall Championship, held in Pinerolo in Turin Province from August 7 to 9.

The championship featured 14 teams, with the Omani team delivering a strong technical performance throughout the competition to claim the top position and add another international achievement to its record.

The team will next compete in the World Military Parachuting Championship (CISM), scheduled to take place in the Slovak Republic from August 14 to 23, 2026.
