
Muscat: The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) on Tuesday announced the Auction results of the 82nd Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, worth a total applied amount of OMR162,330,500.
According to a media release issued by CBO’s Market Operations Department, the 82nd GDB Issue, has received applications amounting to OMR162,330,500 with allotment amount of OMR87,330,500.
The average yield was 4.23 percent at an equivalent price of OMR100.120, while the highest yield was 4.30 percent at an equivalent price of OMR99.700 and the lowest yield was 4.15 percent at an equivalent price of OMR100.600.
The issue will be settled on Thursday, 2 April 2026. The 82nd GDB issue, carrying a coupon rate of 4.25% p.a, will mature on 2 April 2033.
